The mittens are knitted using a garter stitch and mesh lace pattern. The chevron shape is produced as a result of working increases and decreases so you do have to knit a right and left mitten.

The orignal mittens where knitted in Rowan Felted Tweed and Rowan Tapestry but could be knitted in any odments of DK yarn.
