Chiguroo is a crescent lace shawl that evokes the spirit of spring whether you’re making it or wearing it. Begin with little shoots and tendrils that grow into thick leafy foliage at the border. Sweet Paprika’s Grazioso in their new colorway Spring was a perfect fit for this pattern.

This pattern was created as part of the Happiness Make-a-long event that will begin on the 1st of June, 2017. The make-a-long will run from June 1 to July 16 and there will be prizes and surprises! Join us in celebrating summer together. Check the Happiness Make-A-Long 2017 group on Ravelry for more info.

The shawl is worked from the top down with lace patterns in the body and the border. Both lace patterns can be worked from charts or written instructions. There is some patterning on the reverse side.

The pattern includes tips to modify the shawl so it can be made with a stockinette body and lace only in the border.

Additional gauge - 20 sts and 24 rows in 4” in stockinette stitch
