Peppermint Stripes Christmas Tree is a tabletop tree like no other! Adorable stripes topped with a pom-pom (or top it with a star, pattern included) crocheted in a unique shape. The tree is worked in three separate panels, each from the bottom up. The panels are joined at the sides, and then sewn to a felt base. The result is a tree in the shape of a tetrahedron also known as a triangular pyramid.

VARIATIONS
There are MANY variations you can do with this design. Listed below are a few. I’d love to hear what additional variations you make!
• Replace the pom-pom with a STAR. See page 5 in the pattern for instructions.
• Make a 10” tree. See page 6 in the pattern for instructions.
• Adjust the size of the tree by using thicker or thinner yarn. Use a hook that will yield a tight stitch so the stuffing does not show through.
• Work the tree double-stranded with a hook suitable for your yarn. Keep one strand the same color and vary the color of the second strand for an instantly decorated tree. Great way to use up some scrap yarn!
• Make your CB stripes different colors-another great way to use up some scrap yarn!
• MIX AND MATCH! Make one side striped, one side solid in CA and the last side, solid in CB.
