I cannot think of a better way to spend the month of December than snuggling up with my favorite book of all times, Louisa May Alocott;s Little Women, some knitting and a cup of hot tea! I designed this semi-circular knit shawl that is perfect to knit up this time of year. The body of the shawl is a wonderful companion to your reading, or watching of this classic, and then carve out some time to carefully knit the forest tree border! Finished Dimensions: 70”/ 178 cm wingspan and 23”/ 58.5 cm deep.

Gauge: 20 sts/24 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, after washing and blocking.

Yarn: McMullin Fiber Co, Posh Sock, 80% SuperWash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 420 yds/385 m, 115 grams, Christmas with the March Sisters (MC), 1 skein and Treetops (CC), 1 skein/

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) 32”/80 cm circular or method preferred to work a large number of sts flat and size to obtain gauge.
