A joyfully busy Christmas wreath, with holly leaves, berries, Christmas roses and stars.

I’ve used blues, silvers and purples for this wreath to match my Christmas tree decorations, but you should feel free to use any colours you like. It’s a great stashbust project, needing small amounts of lots of different colours.

You will need:

• One 25cm polystyrene ring
• 4mm crochet hook
• DK yarn in small quantities. I used Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades: white, royal, violet, empire, lapis, petrol, grey, cloud blue, lobelia, silver, duck egg, wisteria, aster, denim. Note: how much of each colour you’ll need will vary, so I can’t give you quantities.
• Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
• Pins to pin all the motifs in place
