A quick-to-knit cowl featuring gansey motifs with a simple garter stitch border.

Difficulty: Advanced beginnner/ intermediate.

Finished Size Approx 26 ½ in (67.5cm) circumference and 7 ¼ in (18.5cm) high.

Yarn Approximately 180 yds (165m) bulky weight yarn. Shown in Brooklyn Tweed Quarry (100% Targhee-Columbia wool, 200 yds (183m)/ 3.5 oz (100g)): moonstone.

Gauge 14.5 sts/28 rnds = 4 in / 10cm in Gansey Chart patt on larger needles.

Needles US #7 (4.5mm) and #8 (5mm) 24” 60cm circular or double-pointed needles.
