I’m a big fan of granny squares, but one thing that I’d always wanted to have a go at was a circular granny block.

The finished block is a great scrap buster and would look fabulous as a multi-square afghan or large cushion.

Pattern is written in UK and US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations.

Designed as part 4 of the KCACO-UK Groovyghan CAL 2016

Hook: UK 4 mm / US Size G
Yarn: Double Knit / 8 ply / Weight #3
Yarn Amount required: Each panel roughly uses up 125 yds (50 g / 150 m)
Gauge: 6 tr/dc sts = 1.5 inches / 3.8 cm
Finished panel size: 10 x 10 inches / 25.4 x 25.4 cm
