Clementine the Chicken
Clementine the Chicken pattern is for the experience beginner.
US terms used
Most of the pattern is worked in continuous rounds/spirals of single crochet. There is working in rows. You will need to know how to do single crochet, half double, double and treble crochet, slip stitch, increases and decreases.
Gauge is not important.
You will need a small amount of 8ply for the face, comb and feet with the rest of the chicken being worked in a bulkier yarn.
Clementine (variegated brown chicken) was made using a bulky 10ply and she is 25cm tall, 22cm long and 14cm wide.
Claudia (white chicken) was made using a bulky 12ply and is 25cm tall, 22 long and 14cm wide.
Sizes will vary depending on yarn and hook size used.
Please note: Clementine is not a free-standing chicken!
The pattern consists of 10 pages. To make it more printer friendly, I have placed the majority of photos on the last 2 pages.
Please feel free to sell the items made from this pattern but please don’t mass produce them. Please credit me with the pattern design.
