Climbing Ivy Vest
Inspired by the ivy climbing on an old stone church, lacy leaves trail up our charming and timeless vest. Solitude’s botanically-dyed or sheep-grown colors with the subtleties and beauty that only nature can produce add to the quiet magic.
This garment is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes; the fronts and back are then worked separately while shaping neck. A 3-needle bind off is used to join the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up around the armhole and worked in ribbing. The buttonhole, neck and button bands are worked on one long needle. Blocking and sewing on buttons completes this stylish vest.
NOTE: Lace pattern is charted only.
