The Cloudweave Hat is the cozy companion to the Cloudweave Scarf, featuring the same flowing faux-cable texture that evokes drifting strands of cloud. Worked from the bottom up in DK weight yarn, the hat begins with a comfortable ribbed brim and transitions into the textural pattern before finishing with sculptural crown shaping for a modern, softly slouchy silhouette. The pattern includes five sizes, so why not make more than one?

1 Baby to fit head circumference of 43–47 cm / 17–18.5 inches
2 Junior to fit head circumference of 48–52 cm / 19–20.5 inches
3 Adult Small to fit head circumference of 53–55 cm / 21–21.5 inches
4 Adult Medium to fit head circumference of 56–59 cm / 22–23 inches
5 Adult Large to fit head circumference of 60–64 cm / 23.5–25 inches

YARN AND YARDAGE
50, 100 (100, 150, 150) g or 100, 160, (200, 225, 250) m / 110, 175 (220, 245, 275) of Knits Alpine Merino (50 % merino, 50 % alpaca, 50 g = 100 m / 110 yards) or similar DK weight yarn. Dark green sample made in colorway Pine Forest.

Pink sample is made with Laurelknits SuperSock (400 m / 100 g) held together with a strand of Laurelknits Udu Lite (400 m / 50 g) both in colorway Blossom.

NEEDLES
4 mm and 4.5 mm needles (preferred cable length for working in the round)

TECHNIQUES
Working in the round, 3-needle bind off.
