Tavita is worked seamlessly top down. Knitting starts by shaping the neckline with short rows. At the same time, decreases are made along the raglan seams to form the shoulders. While the body is knitted in rows, the sleeves are knitted in the round. The pattern is made up only of knit and purl stitches. A broad two-coloured horizontal ribbing defines the edges of both sleeves and body. The coat can be closed with a belt knitted in the contrasting colour.

The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
XS (S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL) = 29 (32; 35; 39; 42; 47; 52)‘‘ / 74 (82; 90; 98; 107; 119; 131) cm bust circumference (measured at your body).

The A-line shaped coat has a tight fit with the front parts overlapping a bit. Example: If you have a bust measurement of 35“ (90 cm), then knit the coat in size M and the front parts will overlap by around 2.75’’ (7 cm).

Der Mantel wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Die Arbeit beginnt am Halsausschnitt mit verkürzten Reihen im Nacken. Gleichzeitig erfolgen die Zunahmen für die Schultern an den vier Raglanlinien. Der Körper wird in Reihen und die Ärmel werden in Runden gestrickt. Es werden nur rechte und linke Maschen gearbeitet. Den Abschluss am Saum sowie an den Ärmeln bilden breite Streifen aus zweifarbigen Querrippen. Geschlossen wird der Mantel mit einem in der Kontrastfarbe gestrickten Gürtel.

Die Größen entsprechen folgendermaßen dem Brustumfang:
XS (S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL) = 74 (82; 90; 98; 107; 119; 131) cm Brustumfang (an deinem Körper ausmessen).

Der Mantel hat eine schmale A-Linien-Passform und überlappt an den Vorderteilen ein Stück. Beispiel: Wenn du einen Brustumfang von 90 cm hast, dann strickst du den Mantel in Größe M und die Vorderteile überlappen etwa 7 cm.
