I love nothing more than a timeless cardigan. There is something about a classic knit that makes every outfit look polished and pulled together. These sorts of knits are passed around families and last generations. They are used, reused, mended, and used some more. Coghlan Cottage is knit top-down, with the button-band and collar picked up at the end. A series of short rows create a comfortable and flattering fit. This cardigan is designed to be completely reversible for two different (and timeless) looks. The simple textured stitch pattern has a classic style to both sides of it that I love. Coghlan Cardigan is finished with buttons, pockets, elbow patches, and a toggle to close up the shawl collar on particularly brisk days.
