Note: In the schematic, there is a 2 1/4” measurement just below the top-to-underarm measurement (on the right hand side). This is the height of the lace pattern, which actually starts lower, just above the 10” of ribbing, after dividing for the body and arms and working a few rounds of stockinette stitch.
