This pattern is a perfect holiday project - enough interest to keep you busy and motivated yet it’s simple enough to do while chatting or watching TV. The shawl is knitted from side to side. It is shaped with increases/decreases on the other edge and short-row wedges that shape the shawl into symmetrical shape. One Size, finished measurements:

• Top edge width 110”/280 cm with lace and 99”/265 without lace
• Depth 22”/55 cm with lace and 19”/48 cm without lace

Gauge: 22 sts/30 rows = 4” 10 cm in garter st.
The exact gauge is not important in this pattern, however different gauge will affect to your yardage! This shawl was knitted with exact yarn amounts given in the pattern. Note that if you work with different yarn or different gauge, your yarn may run out. Prepare with enough yarn.

Yarn: You need four (4) colors fingering weight yarn, sample yarns:
A: Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100 % Merino Wool, 420yds/384m/skein), colorway Smokestack (light grey). You need one skein, 115g/420yds/384m.
B: Dibadu Funnies Simply Merino (100% Merino Wool, 365 m/100g/skein), colorway Beerenmus (pink). You need 60 g/241 yds/220 m.
C: Dibadu Funnies Simply Merino (100% Merino Wool, 365 m/100g/skein), colorway Gebrannte Erde (burnt orange). You need 55 g/220 yds/201 m.
D: Dibadu Funnies Simply Merino (100% Merino Wool, 365 m/100g/skein), colorway Mangrovia (green). You need 55 g/220 yds/201 m.

Neuletiheys:
22 s/30 krs = 10 cm ainaoikeinneuletta.
Tarkka neuletiheys ei ole olennaista tässä mallissa, mutta huomioi, että eri neuletiheyd vaikuttaa langanmenekkiin! Huivi on neulottu tarkalleen niillä määrillä, jotka ohjeessa on sanottu. Huomioi, että jos neulot eri langalla tai neuletiheydellä, lanka voi loppua. Varaa tarpeeksi lankaa.
