These mitts are great skill builders as well as a wonderful gift. Use up small bit of fingering weight yarn or a set of minis.

There is a table for you to fill in for each of your pieces so that you can plan the color placement and the “balance” you desire.
I suggest that you map out your round numbers with color ideas before starting. This will save some ripping. That is why I have included a coloring sheet.

The circumference of the hand is measured around the palm just below the fingers. These mitts fit with a bit of negative ease. The measurements listed in the sizes above are the hand measurements, not the mitts.
