The cables on these socks were inspired by the Columbia River, the largest river in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. The Columbia River has many sharp bends and turns to it as it flows through the region known as Big Bend Country, and out to the Pacific Ocean. The river flows through several mountain ranges, including the Canadian Rockies, the Columbia Mountains, and the Cascade Range. This pattern results in stretchy, fitted socks with negative ease to allow the lace pattern to show well. However, consider that the cables slightly reduce stretchiness when choosing your size. Charts are provided in separate documents by size.

PATTERN DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate; some of the skills required include: cables & lace, picking up stitches, patterned gussets, short-row shaping, & decreases.

SIZES: Adult S (M, L, XL): to fit 7 (8, 9, 10)“ /17.5 (20, 22.5, 25)cm foot circumference to fit with about .5”/ 1.25 cm negative ease
