ABOUT THE PATTERN
A fun, simple pattern, the Cozy in the Mountains Mittens are thick, warm, and cozy. The design is minimalistic with a touch of interest using a large off-centered cable on the back of each hand. The knit is very quick and enjoyable, making it a perfect gift knit.
The pattern is worked cuff up in the round and includes instructions for adjusting the mitten length if desired. Learn more about the design inspiration, knitting experience, and wearing experience here.
The pattern includes one PDF file with both the written and charted instructions, but the instructions are kept separate, so you can print only what you’ll need!

TECHNIQUES
The techniques used in the Cozy in the Mountains Mittens pattern are relatively simple: the majority of the knitting is knits and purls. The pattern also includes knitting stitches together, increases, and cables. The pattern is written for an adventurous beginner knitter wanting to learn how to make mittens or interested in practicing cables in the round.
All of my patterns include clear, step-by-step instructions and linked video technique tutorials that walk you through the pattern with confidence. I am also available for pattern support if you have questions.
