This kit has been designed in collaboration with
Aimee DeBaun Amlemey to knit the Cozy Karma Hat and the Little Karma Flags (or two hats)

For the kit we used the eight colors of the mYak Cashmere Pop Color collection – our tribute to the rebel spirit of the Tibetan people. The Little Karma Flags take inspiration from the colorful Tibetan Prayer Flags scattered everywhere on the Tibetan Plateau that carry prayers and wishes to the wind. The swatches are a wonderful way to learn new stitch patterns, bind off techniques, play with gauge and blocking. The best part is the immediate gratification in a quick completion of each swatch.

The patterns for the little flags are laid out by Willa Shalit and chosen with her permission from her collection of swatch patterns found on instagram @knit_play.

The Cozy Karma Hat is a comfy hat worked using stripes for a colorful play and slouchy style with an ample fit.
This pattern uses a tubular cast on and a twisted rib instead of the traditional 1 x 1 rib.

Techniques and methods are either detailed in the pattern itself, or there are links to some helpful web-tutorials.
