Craig proves that even predators can be cute. Gentle and sweet!

Craig is an intermediate amigurumi (crochet) pattern written in US (American) terms. The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. My Craig is approximately 12cm tall (4 ½ inches).

You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).

You will need:

• 3.00mm hook/C-2 (US)
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > 50g yarn in GREEN, less than 50g yarn in LIME
• BLACK 4ply yarn or embroidery thread
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best, I prefer cotton.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• For this pattern, the following yarns were used: o GREEN = Scheepjes Stonewashed in Colour “826 Fosterite” o LIME = Scheepjes Stonewashed in Colour “819 New Jade” o BLACK = Scheepjes Catona in “110 Jet Black”
• I have used embroidered the eyes for this pattern but you may use safety eyes. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
