This pattern creates a pretty, slouchy beanie using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. The ribbed band of the hat is created first using short rows and then the body of the hat is crocheted in the round with crossed double crochet. The finished slouchy beanie will measure approximately 10 inches from the top of the hat to the edge. There are instructions in the pattern notes for a less slouchy hat.
