Dagfrid Sweater

An Icelandic sweater in our own soft, delicate yarn Önling No 1, made of sustainable wool and angora. Purl stitches in the color pattern create a beautiful structure and exciting three-dimensional effect. A new interpretation of an Icelandic sweater that will become a favorite because it is both beautiful and lovely to wear.

Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows in stocking st and pattern on needle size 4 mm / US 7 = 10 x 10 cm
IMPORTANT! It is important that the gauge is the same, both for patterned and plain stockinette. Many knitters will need to go up or down 1-2 needle sizes when switching to multicolored knitting, to maintain the same gauge.

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round, from the top down. The yoke is knitted with increases in the pattern. Hereafter the work is divided, and both sleeves and body are finished separately.
