Dancing Owl
Dancing Owl loves the music. She is very often dancing in the silence (with the music inside her head) when nobody sees her. But when you suddenly see her dancing, she pretends to be sleeping :) This owl will make a great colorful gift for your relatives or friends. I bet kids will love her! She has a nicely structured body with imitation of feathers and embroidered eyes and beak - and thus is suitable for small children.
Pattern is written for one size, it contains 14 pages with written instructions (US terms) and many pictures in progress. There is also stitch guide included explaining how every stitch should be made and instructions on how the owl should be put together. Pattern also contains detailed photo tutorial on how to embroider owl’s eyes and the beak.
Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in the pattern).
Materials: yarn in 4 coulors (but you can use more colors for the body if you wish); crochet hook 3.25 mm (D) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge, scissors, tapestry needle to put owl together and embroider her face, embroidery thread and stuffing.
There are two copies of the pattern offered to download: one is very detailed with many pictures, and second copy is printer friendly (with written instructions only and no pictures).
