This cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armhole. Fronts and back are then worked separately. Shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind off. Sleeve stitches are picked up around armhole and worked from the top down using short row shaping. Stitches are picked up along front and neck and worked in one piece for front and neck band. A shawl pin holds the top neck together. Needles used are intentionally larger that suggested to create a light airy fabric. This cardigan uses 6 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins of KnitPicks Cotlin. This cardigan is held together at the top with a shawl pin so there is no need to make buttonholes! This is a simple, quick knit and is just right for cool evenings or change of seasons.
