Desire Path
Swap, stripe, slip, fade - find your way!
I’ll set you on a path with a written guide to create an arrow-shaped scarf or shawl, including instructions for casting on and shaping as well as a variety of basic stitch patterns. You take that path in your own direction – wide or narrow, long or short, colorful or neutral, faded, slip-stitched or striped, you decide.
Why desire path?
A desire path is a user-created path, like a trail that cuts through a meadow instead of following the sidewalks on either side. I’m using the phrase here as a metaphor for each of us making our own choices and decisions about our creativity.
So, get your colored pencils out and a nice warm drink and think about how you would like to get from one end of this scarf to the other!
