• Heavy worsted yarn. Shown Caron One Pound (100% acrylic, weight #4, Medium, 16 oz / 453.6 g / 812 yds / 742.5 m, machine wash warm water, gentle cycle, machine dry, low heat, delicate cycle) in off-white color, 940 (1020, 1070, 1170, 1240, 1350, 1400) g / 1683 (1826, 1916, 2095, 2220, 2417, 2507) yds.
• Tapestry needle.

Sizes:

• Loose-fitting cardigan measures 97 (104, 110.8, 117.8, 124.8, 131.6, 138.6) cm / 38 1/8 (41, 43 5/8, 46 3/8, 49 1/8, 51 ¾, 54 ½)’’ in bust / hips and best fits sizes S (M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X) / 88 (95, 102, 109, 116, 122.5, 129.5) cm / 34 5/8 (37 3/8, 40 1/8, 42 7/8, 45 5/8, 48 ¼, 51)’’ bust with approx 9 cm / 3 ½’’ positive ease. Bust measurement is given with front overlapping by front bands or approx by 5 cm / 2’’. Later in the pattern sizes S (M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X).
• Model is size M / 95 cm / 37 3/8’’ bust and hips, height 5’ 6’’ and wears size M / 104 cm / 41’’.

Gauge (UK: tension):

• Hdc rib stitch: 17 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4’’.
• Diamond stitch: 3 reps (18 sts) x 8 rows = 10.4 x 11.1 cm / 4 1/16 x 4 5/16’’.
