Diamond-shaped leaves drift along one side of this texture-filled shawl. Rows of garter stitch interspersed with lines of ribbing add to its sense of flow and direction.
This asymmetrical shawl is worked from one tip to the opposite edge. It increases three stitches every four rows along the top edge. The shawl begins with garter rib. After about half of the total rows are worked, the diamond lace pattern is introduced along the bottom edge of the shawl. Each pattern repeat adds another section of diamonds until they are worked across the entire length of the rows by the end of the shawl.
Instructions are both written and charted and include notes for how to customize the length of the shawl.
