Here’s the mixed media version of my Diamond Drawstring Bag. The bag features a crochet panel with a diamond design combined with a vinyl bottom and strap. The panel is crocheted with sturdy, mercerized cotton yarn.

Detailed instructions are given for sewing the vinyl bottom, vinyl strap, lining the bag and reinforcing the bottom of the bag. The sewing needs to be done on a sewing machine by someone with machine sewing experience. A rotary blade and cutting board will work best to cut the vinyl.

Finished Measurements: 9 ½“ high, 9 ½” wide. The base is 6” wide and 3” deep. The strap is 52” long.

1 skein #819 Light Olive
Size G/6/4mm crochet hook
3/8 -yard vinyl or faux leather (54” wide)
