Knit a squadron of Dinky Planes and suspend on lengths of yarn to make a baby crib mobile. To make each dinky plane you will need less than 25 grammes of yarn and a large handful of toy filling. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these planes are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 25g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and a handful of toy filling per plane.

SIZES
One size only - Each plane is 8cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
