The Dive In Shawl is a relaxing design, quick to work up in the Caron Cakes. The pattern is divided into 4 sections and the number of repeats in each section can be increased or decreased easily.

If worked to the pattern as written with the recommended yarn, the finished size of the shawl is 165cm/65” at its widest point and 76cm/30” from top to bottom. Size can be increased or decreased easily by working more or less repeats or each section.

Any yarn can be used, with hook size appropriate to the chosen yarn. Caron Cakes is self striping and the colour in the sample is Faerie Cakes. It used 2 x 200g. This yarn is aran weight.

Working to an exact gauge is not essential as long as stitch tension is consistent throughout and the shawl lies flat neatly after each row.
