Dog Tooth Lily
Dog Tooth Lily is named for the genus of flowers that blooms first here in Maine. Never thinking myself a bright yellow type of person, I can’t get enough of that color come March. Lily is worked top down starting with a garter tab cast on. Increases are made at both edges to create a crescent shawl, with a flowery all-over stitch pattern. The picot bind off gives this simple shawl an elegant finishing touch.
The shawl was designed in collaboration with Miss Babs for their Summer Collection for Maryland Sheep and Wool 2017.
