Dragon Scales Cowl
I love this stitch pattern like you wouldn’t believe. Though I’ve never found it in a book, it came into being so naturally on a swatch, I now want it on a million different projects…which I may be approaching! Based on the old honeycomb slip stitch pattern, it is more layered to create a dragon scale or a peacock feather look. Once you do a couple of repeats, it’ll become really intuitive. Once you have fallen in love, check out our other awesome Dragon Scales projects at island-yarn.com You can find kits for the Dragon Scales cowl, which include a FREE download code for the pattern!
The Dragon Scales Cowl will be free for the first 1000 downloads and code FREESCALES and free with purchase of any other of my patterns for one week (ends 4/28) and code FREEDRAGON (add both to your cart before using the code).
The Dragon Scales Cowl was our April Save Our Sanity Box kit! If you don’t want to miss the next box, head here to sign up!!
