Dark color version shown in Mountain Colors handpainted Alpaca Blend sport wt. (on size M/N hook) for a very lightweight, openwork shawl.

Aqua version shown in Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing Co. Inc. Super Petalspun rayon cone yarn held together with a strand of multicolor fine cone yarn Cotton Gloss (on size J hook) for a bit heavier, denser fabric.

Multicolor versions made with leftover sock yarn remnants on smaller hook (size H/8 or size G/6). Take all your leftover sock yarns and start stitching, joining on a new strand as the old color runs out. Fun to watch the randomness and what happens next!

Rust version in Red Heart ‘Comfort’.
