Notes:
For this pattern, I’ve used two strands of 8ply cotton blend in YELLOW and Bella Baby Nippers yarn in WHITE. You may use any thickness or yarn fibre but should aim to have the same overall thickness for both colours.
Amigurumi is stitched in the round unless stated otherwise.
When changing colour, pull through new colour on the last stitch of the row prior.
Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight to keep stuffing from showing and for any attachments (ie safety eyes) to stay in place.
The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Ebert is approximately 12cm wide (4 ½ inches).
I have used plastic safety eyes but you may choose to embroider. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
