Every year I try to dream up new ideas to help celebrate Christmas and I’ve noticed that elves are very popular as gifts or decorations. These little Elfie Twins fit into both categories, lovely for children’s stockings or to use as decorations, peeping through the branches of your Christmas tree or standing on shelves and tables helping to spread the joy of Christmas.

The Elfie Twins stand at approximately 8 inches or 20cms. They are knitted flat and assembled. The feet, legs, body and head is knitted as one piece, ears and arms are knitted separately.

Girlie Elfie has little pig tails poking from under the brim of her hat and a sweet fluted skirt. Little boy Elfie has big breeches, needs to grow a little to keep them up!

They are both worked flat on 2 knitting needles using Double Knitting/lightweight worsted yarn, only take small amounts of leftovers from your stash and are a quick knit. I always include a full making up guide with lots of photos of each step of assembly and a couple of quick tips to help you create a sweet Elfie.
