I’ve been wondering for quite a while how the shaping used in a top-down sweater would work in a shawl. So when I was asked to design a pattern for our local yarn shop tour this year I jumped at the chance to explore. One definite benefit it stays on your shoulders!

This could be made in a larger size as long as you continue to increase 6 more sts per panel (18 total) so the lace pattern will work.

I suggest using a 32” circular needle.

The shawl in the second picture is knit using Debbie Bliss Donegal Fine for the main color.
