Elke is the name of my son’s partner, when she got ill and had to go through chemo therapy I designed and knitted this hat for her.

This is a bit slouchy type of hat, but with a solid brim to create a good fit. The cabled strap in the front does not affect the elasticity of the hat. The I-cords will give a nice look and you can adjust the hat a little with it. I kept the inside soft and smooth without any seams or other unevenness.

Additional to the most common knitting equipment you will enjoy to have a knitting mill as well. I used a Prym knitting mill.
