Ella Sweater
The leaf-patterned yoke is fun to knit and provides a great fit, because the combination of knit and purl stitches is so elastic. Ella Sweater is worked from the top down, and the neckline is shaped using short rows.

Size guide
Ella Sweater has an intended positive ease of 16-20 cm 6.25-7.75”. It is shown with approx. 22 cm 8.75” of positive ease. Find your personal size by measuring yourself around the chest (or the largest part of the body). Then look at the measurements at page 1 (this is the finished measurements of the sweater). Positive ease is the difference between your bust circumference and the bust circumference of the sweater. Is your bust circumference e.g. 94 cm 37 inches, a size M will give you 18 cm 7” of positive ease (112 cm – 94 cm = 18 cm) 44” – 37” = 7”
The length is measured at the center back, excluding the neckband.
Construction
Ella Sweater is knitted top-down. After the neckband, short rows are worked to make the front neckline lower than the back. Then the yoke with lace pattern is worked, raglan increases are made and finally the sleeves and body are separated and worked one at a time.
