Embossed Daisy Collection consists of two patterns with similar floral design: a mandala and a square. Both patterns are worked in an embossed crochet technique, which is both simple and effective. Only usual crochet stitches are used to create highly textured fabric.

My samples were made with aran weight yarn and used as a cushion. However, these patterns give many more project possibilities. The Mandala will create a wonderful textured placemat or trivet. And the square, made with finer yarn and smaller hook, will become a nice block for a blanket.

Both projects will look the best with solid single color.

Materials
~ Scheepjes Chunky Monkey or Scheepjes Truly Scrumptious x 4 balls (for each mandala and square)
~ 4mm or the size needed to obtain correct gauge
~ Scissors, yarn needle to weave in ends

Gauge: After 4 rounds circle measures approx. 10cm/4in across.

Measurements:
~ finished mandala measures approx. 58cm/22¾in across after blocking.
~ finished square measures approx. 50cm/20in across after blocking.
