Entrelac Hat
How to knit a beanie hat in stocking stitch entrelac pattern in the round: small diamonds worked on the bias, each picked up from the sides of the one below.
6 sizes to fit a baby up to adult sizes.
Use double pointed needles or circulars; long colour change yarn or solid colours in stripes.
This pattern is written for Noro 10 ply yarn (Silk Garden or Kureyon) 50 gms = 100 m, but any similar thickness yarn can be used.
Samples using other yarns are shown to demonstrate this.
Pattern includes a photo tutorial on how to “knit backwards” – work purl side stitches on the knit side to save turning.
Warning: entrelac is addictive!
