Espaliered is a textured, asymmetric triangle. The body of the shawl is worked sideways, and alternates between bands of lace and sections of striped garter with slip stitch lines. This creates an intriguing, textured effect reminiscent of branches trained to grow across a garden wall. 



Ideal for showing off two or more complementary colours, or a solid paired with a slow colour change yarn.


Suitable for any yardage of fingering to Aran weight by adjusting needle size to your preferred gauge.
