Ethereal lace shrug is a casual and easy to wear shrug. Light as air and simple in design, it can be worn over bare shoulders with ease during the cold evenings.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) - to fit chest sizes 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)”/76 ( 86, 97, 107,117, 127, 137)cm.

Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch with larger needle.

Materials:
Lace yarn that gives recommended gauge:
Approximate yards: 445 (470, 600, 700, 800, 800, 1000)yards / 406( 430, 549, 640, 732, 732, 914)m.

Needles:
One each 16” and 29” circular needle size US 6 (4.00 mm) and a set of 5 dpn( for body and sleeves)
One 29” circular needle size US 4 (3.50 mm) and a set of 5 dpn ( for ribbing )
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.

Notions:
Stitch markers(m), as needed. Two of different color to denote for lace pattern markers.
Large stitch holders or waste yarn.
Tapestry needle for weaving ends.

Note:
The garment is worked flat (back and forth) from the neck down,it is practically seamless, the only sewing is for the buttons if you opt for having one.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. I would suggest using different colors markers to mark the lace section at back.
