This design is inspired by one of my favorite beaches and reminds me of the curling foamy surf against the sea beyond. The pattern uses yarn overs, decreases and a cable worked on the wrong side to make a more relaxed rippling cable texture.

Yarn: Knit Picks Hawthorne
(80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide, 357 yards/100
grams) or a fine sock yarn
Gauge: 35 stitches = 4” (10cm) in pattern
Needles: US Size 4(3.50mm)
Notions: Tapestry needle and cable needle
