This easy toque is constructed top down with simple double crochet increases, joined rounds (not a spiral), and an easy up-turned brim. Pattern includes instructions for three sizes

Difficulty Level: Easy.
Finished Dimensions: Children’s (19” circumference x 7” height), Women’s (21” circumference x 8” height), Men’s (23” circumference x 9” height).
Gauge (Tension): In pattern, 12 stitches x 7 rows = 4” x 4” (10cm x 10cm)

You Will Need:

• Skills: Basic Crochet Stitches: Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), & Slip Stitch (sl st). Special Stitches: Standard Double Crochet Increase (dc2same)
• Tools: Crochet Hook J-10/6.0mm or size needed to obtain gauge. Basic Yarn Sewing Kit: scissors, soft tape measure, yarn needle, & removable stitch markers
• Materials: Chunky (5) Weight Yarn. Children’s (about 100yds), Woman’s (about 120yds), Men’s (about 150yds)

For the sample piece, I used 128 Superwash by Cascade. Chunky (5) Weight. (100% Superwash Wool). 100g/128yds per skein.
