This quick and easy pattern from 1892 The Art of Knitting, p.99, no.7 is perfect for when you need to keep busy but your attention is divided. This simple pattern is so adaptable: the number of cast-on-stitches and the number of rows in a stripe can be changed to fit your needs. Choose your favorite color or multiple colors!
4 triangles make a 7” square reversible block at gauge. It takes me about half an hour to knit a triangle.

Skills needed: cast on, knit, purl, k2tog, p2tog and k3tog or p3tog (your choice).

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Any block-able yarn/thread will work. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.

15 yards of Lion brand 24/7 Cotton yarn will make a triangle in the stated gauge.
