Faux Paux Pullover
Pattern will be available for purchase tomorrow! 7/26
I plucked this yarn out of the stacks in February; not sure where I’d go with it. I figured it’d be sweater-bound, and planned to squish it together with another skein. Once I started swatching with it, though, I found it was sturdy enough to stand on its own. I expected the swatches to be sheer, like other lace weight yarns behave when worked at a relaxed gauge. Instead, I found that this yarn’s halo is abundant. It yields a decadent garment that isn’t see-through. I added my own peek-a-boo lace panels to this sweater in the center, trailing the length of the sleeves and along the sides. You’ll cruise through the top-down, raglan construction in no time, with options for perfecting your fit as you go.
CONSTRUCTION The sweater is worked from the top down and primarily in the round. You will start by working your rows back and forth until you have created a bit of neck depth. Then the sweater will be joined and worked in the round. The sweater has a boxy shape. There is no waist shaping. FINISHED BUST MEASUREMENTS
