Felted Phone and Pencil Pockets
I absolutely got soooo tired of fishing around in my purse to find my phone every single time it rang. I needed a solution.
Out came the knitting needles; dpns, to be specific. I learned a technique in the 70s (yes I AM that old) to knit both sides of the same pouch while knitting flat. You slip every other stitch on every row. This makes knitting a pocket a piece of cake.
Since I wanted durability, I felted the phone case and made long ties to attach to the outside of my purse or even a belt loop. It’s not for a woman nor for a man, it’s for everyone. Even a kid could add it to their backpack strap.
Then, I decided I needed a safer way to store my expensive Apple Pencil….Voila….same technique…same great results!
I am pricing this very low to enable everyone to make their phone usage easier.
Let’s celebrate, America!
