Feride
Feride is designed for fingering weight (4ply) yarns and is the sister pattern to Lovebird. This design features a stocking stitch body which finishes with dramatic lace and a sprinkling of beads.
There are 2 sizes available and it may be knitted with or without beads.
Written instructions are provided for EVERY row, with stitch counts, marker information, and notes. Full charts are also included as well as a tick sheet for each size.

Yarn
Small: 1 skein Malabrigo Sock yarn 402m/440yd 100g/3.5oz (I used used 80g col. Reflecting Pool).
or
Large: 2 skeins Malabrigo Sock yarn 402m/440yd 100g/3.5oz (I used used 120g col. Zarzamora).
Beads & Hook
Small: Size 6 seed beads approx. 200 (I used 16g Miyuki beads col. Blue Zircon for the sample).
Large: Size 6 seed beads approx. 250 (approx. 20g Miyuki beads).
and
1mm crochet hook for applying your beads.
Needles & Notions
Pair of 4mm (US 6) and 4.5mm (US 7) needles. I like to use an 80cm circular needle set but straight are fine also. The larger needles are optional for a loose cast off. I advise the use of at least 4 stitch markers to separate the edge stitches and the incomplete repeats at either side. You will need 24 (30) markers to separate every repeat.
Tension/Gauge
Approx. 21 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm/4” over pattern using 4mm (US 6) needles (after blocking).
Finished Measurements
Small sample: 156cm (61 1/2”) wingspan, 40cm (16”) depth at centre (incl. points).
Large sample: 200cm (78 3/4”) wingspan, 54cm (21 1/4”) depth at centre (incl. points).
