This is a beautiful, lightweight moebius cowl that can be worn in many ways; as a shoulder wrap; as a neck warmer; as a loose cowl, or by the use of a single button, as a cozy cowl which keeps the draughts away.
A moebius is a twisted loop with one edge and one surface, which is knit from the middle outwards.
The pattern uses garter stitch and dropped stitches. It is designed to use the Cat Bordhi method of casting on for a moebius cowl. There is a great video on YouTube describing this.
The photograph shows it knitted in Zauberball variegated sock yarn.
The pattern includes full instructions. Gauge is not critical to this project.
