Fika Embossed Mandala is a perfect pattern to learn basics of the embossed crochet technique.

You can use different weight of yarn and hook size to make the mandala bigger or smaller.

In the pictures, you see two samples: a round pillow made with chunky yarn, and a place mat with fingering yarn.

For one place mat you will need:
Scheepjes Legacy (100% Premium Blend Cotton; 100g/330m)
08-089 x 1 skein
3 mm hook

For one chunky mandala you will need:
Scheepjes Chunky Monkey (100% Premium Acrylic Anti Pilling; 100g/116m)
1218 Jasmine (or 1064 Beige) x 4 skeins
5 mm hook

Gauge
Gauge is not very important for this pattern and will depend on the yarn and hook you use. However, if you would like create mandalas in the same size, as shown in the pictures, please, refer to the gauge information in the pattern.
