This pattern was created for Sock Scarefest 2018.

Back in the 80s, I saw “Return to Oz” at a slumber party, and it scared the beejeebers out of me. Inspired by the super creepy/scary Wheelers and the condition of the yellow brick road, the sock features a closed ring cable panel and broken rib.

The socks are worked cuff down with a flap and gusset heel with the cable column continuing to the toe.
